Dr. Frank Soong
Founder and President
Computer Trading Support, Inc.
Dr. Frank Soong wrote the first version of CTS Trend, a real-time technical analysis package for the Personal Computer in 1986. Wall Street Computer Review (currently Wall Street & Technology) stated that "CTS brings big league technical analysis within reach of the novices and ambitious professionals alike" back in March of 1987.
Dr. Soong and his team have developed his trading theory and have applied it in a real trading environment. He and his team have built a futures trading model for bonds, short term rates, index futures, currencies and physical commodities. This trading model runs 24 hours a day and covers all of the world markets. Dr. Soong has allowed a major Wall Street firm to use his futures trading model for over 10 years with great success.
Dr. Soong and his team have also developed an equity trading model. This model has an excellent performance record and is currently being used at a major Wall Street bank, where Dr. Soong is a trading advisor for equity and hedge trading.
Dr. Soong and his team have also worked with Systex Corporation to develop real-time technical analysis and real-time quote system in Taiwan in 1988. This helped make Systex Corp. the largest and the most successful company in the Taiwanese financial industry.
Dr. Soong is also the creator of Riemann-Liouville Transform Polygraphy, which was a new analytical tool for chemical analysis, for which he received a grant from the National Science Foundation in 1983.
